How often do you notice the subleties around you? Maybe a gesture of unexpected friendship or compassion. A splash of morning sunlight streaming through the blinds across the floor. A fulfilled promise without pomp and circumstance. A piece of dark chocolate wrapped in gold foil. A reconnection with a faraway friend.
There are so many beautiful moments in my life that I believe are meant to remind me of how lucky I am. I wish I noticed them more often. I will try.
